Information Technology Specialist

About the role

The Information Technology Specialist will work on‑site in Dubai, maintaining and supporting HIB Reinsurance's IT infrastructure. You will ensure secure, reliable, and efficient technology services that meet regulatory and business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, including users, MFA, Conditional Access, devices, shared mailboxes and permissions.
• Oversee endpoint security, EDR/antivirus, email security, patching, vulnerability management and firewall/network/Wi‑Fi infrastructure.
• Develop, test and verify backup, disaster recovery and business continuity arrangements.
• Coordinate cybersecurity incidents, conduct user/device privileged‑access reviews and maintain audit documentation.
• Manage IT vendors, ensure proper control over systems, data and assets, and support AI tool implementation.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on IT infrastructure or cybersecurity experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, MFA and Conditional Access.
• Experience with endpoint/device management, Windows, networking, firewalls and cybersecurity tools.
• Practical experience with backup, restoration and disaster‑recovery testing.
• UAE‑based candidates preferred; financial‑services or regulated‑industry background is a plus.
