Information Technology Specialist – UAE National

About the role

You will be the primary ICT point of contact for the branch, ensuring the effective operation, availability, security, and resilience of all IT systems and infrastructure. The role involves day‑to‑day monitoring, user support, and coordination with head‑office ICT teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor the branch ICT environment, including hardware, software, and network services.
• Provide first‑level technical troubleshooting and user support.
• Support critical AS400 procedures such as SIRE, Safewatch, and SWIFT Alliance.
• Coordinate technical escalations with head‑office ICT teams.
• Assist ICT projects, including primary and disaster‑recovery site implementations.
• Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning and testing.
• Manage application and system access in line with internal procedures.
• Ensure compliance with ICT security standards and support audit activities.
• Provide technical support for videoconferencing and telecommunications services.
• Maintain accurate IT documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant IT experience, preferably in ICT infrastructure, support, and systems administration.
