Information/Data Manager

About the role

The Information/Data Manager will act as the bridge between business units and the IT department, ensuring that data and information are accurate, accessible, and aligned with business needs. You will lead the development of information management principles, models, and governance frameworks while driving business intelligence initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Understand the relationship between business needs and IT capabilities.
• Develop information management principles and information models.
• Collaborate with all departments to ensure data correctness and accessibility.
• Work with each business unit to capture operational processes and improve data lifecycle management.
• Implement Business Intelligence and analytics solutions, including vendor procurement when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in data or information management.
• Experience in the transportation industry is a plus.
• Proven background in data architecture, data quality, and governance.
• Experience defining and executing a BI and analytics strategy.
• Strong knowledge of information modelling and landscape design.
• Familiarity with project‑management methodologies such as PMP or Prince2.
