Infrastructure & Utilities Design Engineer – Middle East

About the role

GHD is seeking experienced engineers to join its growing Middle East team. Positions are open for Civil, Traffic/Transportation, Wet Utilities and Dry Utilities engineers at all seniority levels.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to the design and delivery of multi‑disciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies, data analysis and technical assessments.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and internal teams to ensure project success.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in engineering processes and solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or Electrical Engineering for Dry Utilities roles).
• Experience working in a consultancy environment.
• Understanding of modern infrastructure and utilities modelling software packages.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and technical report writing abilities.
• Previous UAE experience and knowledge of regional design standards is a plus.
• Organised, proactive and able to prioritise multiple tasks independently and within a team.
