Inside Sales Officer

About the role

Etihad Airways is seeking a driven Inside Sales Officer to join its commercial team. The role focuses on generating early‑stage sales activity, qualifying leads and converting them into revenue‑generating accounts across the airline’s B2B portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect new business through outbound calls, emails and virtual channels.
• Qualify inbound leads and turn them into sales opportunities and active accounts.
• Manage a portfolio of low‑touch B2B accounts, driving activation, engagement and upsell.
• Execute structured outreach campaigns sourced from events, referrals, dormant accounts and web enquiries.
• Maintain accurate activity tracking and pipeline data in Salesforce CRM.
• Promote commercial offers, private fares and incentive campaigns.
• Identify market trends, customer objections and competitor activity, sharing insights with stakeholders.
• Reactivate dormant accounts with targeted propositions and support onboarding of new accounts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales or a related field.
• Minimum 4 + years experience in inside sales, B2B sales or customer service.
• Proven track record in lead generation, nurturing and conversion.
• Strong communication, negotiation and influencing abilities.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to spot revenue opportunities.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Salesforce CRM.
