Insolvency & Litigation Associate

About the role

An international law firm is seeking an ambitious and technically strong Associate to join its Insolvency & Dispute Resolution practice in Dubai. The role covers a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters, including complex commercial disputes, corporate insolvency and restructuring, liquidations, receiverships, schemes of arrangement, debt recovery, asset tracing and enforcement.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on complex commercial disputes, corporate insolvency and restructuring, liquidations, receiverships, schemes of arrangement, debt recovery and asset tracing and enforcement.
• Work on company and partnership disputes, financial services litigation, regulatory investigations and security enforcement matters.
• Act for a diverse client base including banks, financial institutions, insolvency practitioners, investment funds, corporates, directors, shareholders and high-net-worth individuals.
• Contribute to business development, strengthen client relationships and support the growth of the practice across the region.

Required profile

• 5-7 years' post-qualification experience gained within an international law firm.
• Qualified in England & Wales, with an additional Commonwealth qualification.
• Experience handling complex, cross-border disputes and insolvency matters; offshore jurisdiction experience is advantageous.
• Commercially minded, proactive and able to work collaboratively within a high-performing team.
