Inspector - Civil

About the role

The Civil Inspector will ensure that all civil inspection activities are performed in line with Bureau Veritas quality standards, relevant codes and procedures. The role involves reviewing plans, executing inspections, handling non‑conformities and delivering accurate reports.

Key responsibilities

• Review applicable Inspection Test Plans, Quality Plan and Procedures.
• Validate inspection assignment documentation, including technical aspects, schedule and reporting.
• Define Bureau Veritas interventions and select appropriate inspection techniques.
• Execute inspections according to the pre‑defined Quality Plan and established procedures.
• Prepare inspection reports, treat non‑conformities (NCRs) and deliver required documentation.
• Ensure inspection quality complies with the BV Quality System.
• Interpret inspection results and manage corrective actions.
• Review and appraise inspection procedures for continuous improvement.
• Maintain internal communication and promote BV service portfolio to clients.
• Follow BV security guidelines and safeguard personal safety on site.
• Participate in knowledge management by sharing information and best practices.
• Monitor civil activities against approved procedures, codes and standards.
• Inspect civil activities in accordance with relevant codes.
• Prepare timely inspection reports and submit them to the Team Leader.
