Instrument & Control Maintenance Engineer (Telemetry)

About the role

The Engineer, I‑C Maintenance will plan and supervise maintenance activities for a wide range of instrumentation and control systems across Ruwais, MERAM and LN sites. The role ensures reliable operation by coordinating with operations, mechanical and electrical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, schedule and execute preventive, breakdown and shutdown maintenance plans for instrumentation and control equipment.
• Provide field technical support for equipment testing, troubleshooting, start‑up activities and critical maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Monitor and control material, spares, consumables and tools to ensure continuous availability.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of failures and non‑scheduled shutdowns, recommending corrective actions.
• Participate in technical bid evaluation, material inspection and contractor performance monitoring for major upgrades and new projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation & Control, Electronics or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in instrument and control engineering and maintenance within a large industrial, preferably oil & gas, environment.
