Intensive Care Nurse (Critical Care and Cardiac)

About the role

A recruitment consultancy is looking for an experienced ICU nurse to join a healthcare facility in Dubai. The ideal candidate has a strong background in critical care, a passion for patient-centred care and the ability to work well in high-pressure environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct, specialised nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications and keep accurate patient records
• Work closely with physicians, respiratory therapists and other members of the healthcare team
• Operate and manage advanced medical equipment and life-support systems
• Respond quickly to emergencies and changes in patient condition
• Follow infection control, safety and nursing best practices
• Educate patients and families about ongoing care and recovery

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of ICU nursing experience
• Valid DHA license (Dubai Health Authority)
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a recognised institution
• BLS and ACLS certifications (preferred)
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
