Interface Manager – Offshore Project Coordination

About the role

The Interface Manager will serve as the central point of contact for all internal and external interfaces on a major offshore project, ensuring seamless coordination between the client, PMC, EPC contractors, vendors and operations teams. The role is based in Abu Dhabi and supports the project from engineering through start‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the Project Interface Management Plan (IMP) and Interface Register.
• Identify, monitor and close internal and external interfaces throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering interfaces across process, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, telecom, civil and structural disciplines.
• Facilitate interface meetings, workshops and ensure timely closure of actions and escalation of critical issues.
• Integrate interface requirements with the overall project schedule and highlight potential bottlenecks.
• Manage technical queries, design clarifications, constructability issues and contractor interface conflicts.
• Support brownfield/offshore tie‑ins, SIMOPS and procurement/vendor interfaces.
• Maintain comprehensive interface documentation, action logs and status reports while ensuring HSE and QA/QC compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized university.
• Significant experience on Oil & Gas EPC/PMC projects, preferably offshore.
• Proven experience in interface management and multidisciplinary engineering coordination.
• Strong understanding of the EPC lifecycle from FEED to commissioning.
• Experience working on ADNOC or ADNOC Offshore projects is highly advantageous.
