Internal Auditor

About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical Internal Auditor to strengthen governance, risk management and internal controls across our UAE operations. The role is hybrid, based in Dubai, and reports directly to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual risk‑based internal audit plan covering operational, financial, compliance and process audits.
• Identify control weaknesses, fraud risks and recommend practical remediation.
• Perform enterprise‑wide risk assessments and maintain corporate risk registers.
• Ensure compliance with UAE laws, IFRS, VAT, corporate tax, AML regulations and internal policies.
• Review accounting, procurement, inventory, treasury, HR and payroll processes for efficiency and automation opportunities.
• Conduct fraud risk assessments, investigate irregularities and implement preventive controls.
• Prepare clear audit reports, present findings to senior management and monitor implementation of recommendations.
• Support ERP implementation reviews and system control assessments.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA qualified member.
• 4–8+ years of internal or external audit experience, preferably with Big 4 articles/training.
• Proven experience auditing UAE‑based companies and working remotely with international teams.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and UAE regulatory environment.
