Internal Auditor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join a multinational financial services organization in Dubai. The role involves conducting internal audits, evaluating controls, identifying risks, and supporting forensic investigations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute financial, operational, compliance, and risk‑based audits across business functions.
• Review financial processes, accounting records, and transactions for accuracy and compliance.
• Evaluate internal controls, risk management, and governance, identifying weaknesses and irregularities.
• Support forensic audits and investigations of suspected fraud or policy violations.
• Perform detailed transaction testing, data analysis, and root‑cause analysis of irregularities.
• Prepare clear audit and investigation reports with findings and recommendations.
• Discuss findings with stakeholders, agree on corrective actions, and track remediation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing or related field.
• 4–8 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, risk advisory or forensic audit, preferably with Big 4 exposure.
• Hands‑on experience in forensic audit or fraud investigations is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, professional skepticism, and high integrity.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Data analytics and forensic analysis tools.
