Investment Analyst / Associate – Investment Management

About the role

This position offers an ambitious investment banking professional the chance to transition into a sophisticated buy‑side environment within a leading Abu Dhabi‑based investment platform. You will work directly with senior investment professionals on evaluation, modelling, due diligence and execution of transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed financial models, including DCF, comparable company, precedent transaction and investment return models.
• Evaluate potential investment opportunities through financial analysis, valuation and commercial assessment.
• Prepare investment committee presentations, transaction memoranda and supporting PowerPoint materials.
• Conduct company, sector and market research to support investment decisions.
• Support financial and commercial due diligence, transaction structuring and execution activities.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of front‑office investment banking experience, preferably in M&A, corporate finance or industry coverage.
• Experience at a leading bulge‑bracket investment bank in London, Europe or North America.
• Demonstrable involvement in live M&A transactions or complex corporate assignments.
• Strong analytical skills, commercial judgement and attention to detail.
• Genuine interest in a long‑term career within institutional investment management.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Strong financial modelling, valuation and financial statement analysis capabilities.
