Senior Accountant – Treasury & Trade Finance

About the role

The Senior Accountant – Treasury & Trade Finance will manage daily treasury operations, monitor cash positions, and coordinate bank transactions to ensure sufficient liquidity for business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage bank finance facilities, renewals, and liaise with Relationship Managers.
• Issue and renew Bank Guarantees (APG/PBG) and coordinate Letters of Credit, Trust Receipts, and other trade finance transactions.
• Oversee invoice discounting facilities and vehicle financing arrangements.
• Prepare daily cash flow statements, financial forecasts, and monitor AR/AP ageing reports.
• Review payroll inputs, employee leave salary calculations, and End‑of‑Service Benefits.
• Ensure accurate VAT processing, tax invoice verification, and timely VAT filing.
• Support UAE Corporate Tax compliance and coordinate external audits.
• Collaborate with banks, vendors, sales team, auditors, and senior management for smooth financial operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in finance, treasury, and banking operations, preferably in the UAE.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, CFA, or UAE VAT/Tax certifications are a plus.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with bank facilities, Bank Guarantees, Letters of Credit, Trust Receipts, and invoice discounting.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and WPS processes.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and advanced MS Excel.
• Cash flow management, accounts receivable/payable, payroll review, and audit coordination.
