Islamic B Teacher

About the role

The Grammar School Dubai is seeking a dedicated Islamic B Teacher to join its faculty. The role involves delivering the Islamic B curriculum to a diverse student body, fostering academic progress and personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess lessons that meet the curriculum standards and cater to varied learner abilities.
• Monitor and record student progress, using data to set targets and inform parents and school leadership.
• Adapt teaching strategies for pupils with special educational needs, gifted and talented learners, and English language learners.
• Prepare teaching materials, homework and extracurricular activities that reinforce classroom learning.
• Participate in examinations, assessments and school inspections as required.
• Maintain a safe, respectful classroom environment and apply consistent behaviour management techniques.

Required profile

• Understanding of how pupils learn and ability to differentiate instruction.
• Experience working with diverse learners, including those with SEN, EAL and gifted abilities.
• Commitment to high standards of literacy and spoken English across the curriculum.
• Strong organisational skills for lesson planning, assessment and pastoral duties.

Required skills

• Effective classroom management and behaviour support.
• Proficiency in using assessment data to drive instruction.
• Ability to develop engaging teaching resources.
