Islamic Teacher for Non‑Arab Students (Cycle 1‑2)

About the role

The school seeks an inspiring Islamic Teacher to deliver Islamic Studies to non‑Arab students in Cycle 1 (KG2‑Grade 2) and Cycle 2 (Grade 3‑Grade 5). The role integrates Islamic content within an American curriculum framework, supporting spiritual growth and cultural understanding.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Islamic Studies lessons to non‑Arab students in Cycle 1 and Cycle 2 following the American curriculum standards.
• Integrate Quranic teachings, Hadith, Seerah and Fiqh into lesson plans while using differentiated instruction and formative assessment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies or a related field, with a recognized teaching qualification (B.Ed, PGCE, etc.) and UAE‑MOFA attestation.
• Minimum 2‑3 years of full‑time experience teaching Islamic Studies to non‑Arabic speakers, preferably in an American‑curriculum school.

Required skills

• Pedagogical expertise in differentiated instruction and assessment for diverse language backgrounds.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
