About the role

Nibras International School is seeking a qualified Islamic Teacher for its high‑school programme starting August 2026. The role involves delivering Islamic Studies, fostering a safe and respectful learning environment, and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Set high expectations and create a stimulating, mutually‑respectful classroom atmosphere.
• Plan and deliver well‑structured lessons that build on pupils’ prior knowledge.
• Monitor and assess pupil attainment, progress and outcomes, providing feedback and guidance.
• Promote literacy, articulacy and correct use of Standard English across the curriculum.
• Apply systematic synthetic phonics techniques for early reading instruction where relevant.
• Utilise appropriate strategies for early mathematics teaching.
• Uphold safeguarding policies and ensure continuous supervision of students.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting.
• Strong knowledge of Islamic Studies and related curriculum.
• Commitment to the school’s vision of a happy, learning‑focused community.
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe environment.
