IT Application Operation Specialist

About the role

The IT Application Operation Specialist is a part‑time remote position responsible for maintaining and supporting the digital applications used by BEM FEB UNESA. The role involves monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth operation for end users.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor application performance and identify technical issues.
• Resolve incidents and provide application support to users.
• Collaborate with organizational units to align IT solutions with business processes.
• Document system issues, changes, and coordinate with technical teams or vendors.
• Recommend improvements to enhance reliability and user experience.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills to diagnose and improve application performance.
• Application and technical support experience.
• Understanding of business processes and IT alignment.
• Basic database and networking knowledge.
• Familiarity with common web or mobile applications and helpdesk tools.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and proactive problem‑solving.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Enrollment in or completion of an IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related program is an advantage.
