IT Support Specialist

About the role

The IT Support Specialist will provide on‑site technical assistance to a globally recognized client, ensuring desktop, laptop, printer and peripheral equipment operate smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain desktop and laptop computers, printers, scanners and approved peripherals.
• Install, configure and update operating systems and approved software on new devices.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and resolve basic hardware, software and printer faults.
• Log and track support tickets, document actions and escalate complex issues to Level 2.
• Assist users with connectivity issues and coordinate with network and systems teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (mandatory).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant IT support experience.
• Arabic proficiency (mandatory).
• Valid UAE driving licence (mandatory) as the role involves travel between sites.

Required skills

• Windows client OS installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Microsoft Office/Outlook end‑user support.
• Printer, scanner and peripheral setup and troubleshooting.
• Basic networking (LAN/Wi‑Fi connectivity, IP configuration).
• Ticketing/service desk tools and ITIL‑style incident handling.
