IT System Administrator – Microsoft 365 & Azure

About the role

The IT System Administrator will manage the day‑to‑day operation of the company’s Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, provide technical support to end users, and handle the full lifecycle of IT incidents and service requests using Jira Service Management.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams and the Microsoft 365 admin centre.
• Manage user lifecycle, licensing, mailbox configuration and security groups.
• Configure Azure AD (Entra ID), Conditional Access, MFA, SSO and Intune device policies.
• Apply security and compliance controls such as DLP, retention policies, Defender for Office 365 and Secure Score remediation.
• Manage Azure resources – VMs, storage, networking, RBAC and cost optimisation.
• Provide first‑ and second‑line support for hardware, software, network and endpoint issues.
• Operate Jira Service Management: ticket triage, SLA monitoring, automation rules and reporting.
• Enforce IT policies, support audits and apply patching/vulnerability remediation.

Required profile

• Emirati National.
• Strong technical background in Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud services.
• Ability to work under defined SLA targets and deliver reliable support.

• Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), Conditional Access, MFA, SSO.
• Microsoft Intune device management.
• Security and compliance tools – DLP, Defender for Office 365, Secure Score.
• Azure infrastructure – virtual machines, storage, VNet, NSG, RBAC.
• Backup, recovery and business‑continuity for cloud workloads.
• Jira Service Management ticketing.
• Windows desktop/laptop support and mobile device management.
