Joinery Machine Operator

About the role

The Joinery Machine Operator will work full‑time at Faham’s factory in Dubai, operating and monitoring woodworking machinery used to produce doors, closets and furniture components. The role ensures that production runs smoothly, meets quality standards and adheres to safety guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate CNC, edge‑banding, beam‑saw and other joinery machines according to work orders.
• Load raw materials, monitor machine performance, conduct routine inspections and perform basic maintenance.
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and surface quality, reporting any defects or delays.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to minimise waste and maintain efficient workflow.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a machine operator in woodwork, furniture or related manufacturing.
• Ability to stand for long periods, handle materials safely and follow health‑safety procedures.
• Basic reading of technical drawings or production orders with strong attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent; willingness to work in shifts.

Required skills

• Operating CNC, edge‑banding and beam‑saw machinery.
• Using hand tools safely for adjustments, finishing and minor repairs.
• Conducting visual inspection and measurement to verify product specifications.
