Joinery Technical Detailer

About the role

Walam Decoration Design & Implementation LLC is looking for an experienced Joinery Technical Detailer to transform approved designs into precise, production‑ready shop drawings. You will support the joinery workshop and site teams by ensuring every detail is buildable, efficient, and aligned with client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings for custom joinery items such as wardrobes, kitchens, vanities, wall cladding, doors, and bespoke furniture.
• Create technical sections, construction details, fixing details, and material specifications.
• Review design drawings to spot potential production or installation challenges.
• Coordinate with designers, project managers, factory teams, and site personnel to guarantee smooth execution.
• Revise drawings based on site conditions, project requirements, and feedback from production.
• Optimize drawings for manufacturing efficiency and installation accuracy.
• Assist with material take‑offs and related production documentation when needed.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in joinery detailing and shop drawings.
• Previous experience in a UAE joinery factory is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of joinery construction methods, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to interpret architectural, interior design, and technical drawings.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
