Junior Accountant

About the role

Arada is seeking a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to support its Finance team. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with day‑to‑day accounting operations in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare and record journal entries in the accounting system.
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and general ledger accounts.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Assist with the preparation of financial and management reports.
• Monitor and track expenses, invoices, and payments.
• Assist with VAT filings and other regulatory reporting requirements.
• Support audit activities by preparing schedules and documentation.

Required profile

• CA (Inter) part‑qualified, or ACCA/CMA qualification preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or an audit firm.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Hands‑on experience with an ERP or accounting system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Zoho Books, QuickBooks).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
