Junior Accountant

About the role

Elwirad Electrical Trading LLC is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Junior Accountant to join its team in Dubai. The role covers daily accounting activities, accurate financial records and support of the company's financial operations in line with UAE regulations. Candidates with experience in the UAE market and a strong understanding of VAT, Corporate Tax and financial reporting are preferred, and immediate joiners or those with a short notice period will be given preference.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, reconciliations and closing entries.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow and bank transactions.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns while supporting Corporate Tax compliance.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks and other external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable UAE financial regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of UAE accounting experience (mandatory).
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Financial reporting, reconciliations and accounting principles.
• Accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
