About the role
A company in Dubai is looking for a Junior Accountant with hands-on experience in Tally and a good understanding of basic accounting principles. The role covers daily accounting records, invoices and payments, and supports the finance team. The position is on-site.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare invoices, receipts, vouchers and payment entries
- Maintain cash and bank transactions
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations
- Assist with VAT-related accounting and documentation
- Prepare basic financial reports
- Support the Senior Accountant with day-to-day accounting activities
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Good communication and organizational skills
- UAE accounting/VAT experience preferred
Required skills
- Tally (mandatory)
- Good knowledge of MS Excel
- Basic accounting principles
