Junior Data Analyst – Dubai

About the role

Smart Manpower is seeking a motivated Junior Data Analyst to join its Dubai office. The role is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with up to two years of experience who want to develop data analysis and business intelligence capabilities. You will work closely with internal teams to turn raw data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and organize data to support business reporting and decision‑making.
• Prepare and maintain reports using Microsoft Excel and data‑visualisation tools.
• Use SQL to retrieve, manage, and analyse datasets.
• Develop Pivot Tables and apply advanced Excel formulas such as VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP.
• Support the creation of dashboards using Power BI or Tableau.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide data‑driven insights and analytical support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Business, Information Technology or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates welcome).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP.
• Solid knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for data visualisation.
