Junior Manager Purchasing

About the role

PUMA is looking for a Junior Manager Purchasing to manage overall inventory for PUMA GCC by driving the purchasing process, with an overview of inbound, inventory and Open-To-Buy utilisation. The role works closely with Planning and Merchandising to ensure stock arrives on launch dates, and with Logistics on specific inbound requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Order management: oversee the full order processing cycle, execute purchasing based on approved demand and buying plans, coordinate purchase orders and check open orders against OTB monthly
• Demand and supply coordination: work with Merchandising to turn market requirements into purchasing needs, support seasonal buying and forecasts, monitor inventory and free available stock
• Supply management: track POs with factories, share visibility of open orders and delays, coordinate with Global Supply Chain teams on shortages and cancellations
• System and analytics: maintain Product Master data, upload and maintain prices in SAP, prepare purchasing and supply reports, analyse delivery and quantity deviations and propose process improvements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or relevant studies
• Minimum 3 years of working experience; retail or wholesale experience preferred

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of SAP
• Solid Microsoft Excel skills; Power BI is an advantage
• Business-level written and verbal communication
