About the role
The Junior Operations Manager – F&B supports daily operations of food and beverage outlets, ensuring smooth service, high quality, cost control and compliance with safety standards. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role coordinates kitchen, front‑of‑house and support teams to meet operational and financial targets.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day outlet operations, monitor service flow and enforce SOPs, taking corrective action when needed.
- Supervise and motivate staff, manage attendance, scheduling, grooming and conduct on‑the‑job training.
- Ensure food quality, hygiene and safety by monitoring cleanliness, temperature records and proper handling procedures.
- Assist with inventory management, waste control and cost monitoring for food, beverage and labour.
- Support sales performance by tracking targets, encouraging upselling and assisting with promotions and events.
- Prepare operational reports on sales, attendance, inventory, complaints and other key metrics.
