Key Account Manager – Aerospace & Defence

About the role

The client, a leading international logistics and supply chain provider, is seeking a Key Account Manager to manage and develop strategic customer relationships within the Aerospace & Defence sector. The role combines commercial acumen with operational logistics expertise to act as a trusted advisor and drive account growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of key Aerospace & Defence customer accounts and develop strategic growth plans.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders, identify revenue opportunities, and lead contract negotiations.
• Act as primary escalation point for customer issues and coordinate internal teams across freight, transport, warehousing, customs and value‑added services.
• Support pricing discussions, contract renewals and monitor market developments to provide industry insights.

Required profile

• Experience in key account, strategic account or business development roles within logistics or supply chain.
• Strong commercial mindset with proven ability to grow existing customer relationships.
• Operational experience in freight forwarding, transportation, contract logistics or related areas.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and analytical skills.
