Lab Instructor – Engineering (Electrical/Electronics)

About the role

The Lab Instructor will deliver lectures and assessments for Diploma‑level engineering courses while managing HCT laboratories and workshops. The role combines classroom teaching with hands‑on support for students and faculty.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, assessments and practical sessions for electrical/electronics engineering diplomas.
• Install, demonstrate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and tools.
• Prepare labs for experiments, manage consumables inventory and maintain preventive‑maintenance schedules.
• Support faculty and students during projects, workshops and laboratory sessions.
• Serve as a student advisor and mentor, and participate in college‑wide activities and events.

Required profile

• Minimum Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant industrial or teaching experience.
• Fluent English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and technical problem‑solving abilities.
• Advanced computer literacy to integrate educational technology.
