Laboratory Chemist – Ghuwaifat Border‑Sila

About the role

The Laboratory Chemist will plan and execute analysis programs, ensuring chemical composition and physical properties of samples meet international standards. The role involves developing and customizing analytical methods, equipment, and processes while adhering to HSE guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Perform analytical determinations on process stream and product samples using Standard Analysis Methods.
• Calibrate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to maintain accurate performance.
• Prepare and standardize solutions, maintain chemical inventory, and ensure a clean, safe laboratory environment.
• Support special tests involving advanced techniques or modified procedures.
• Coordinate analysis schedules for shutdowns, start‑ups, and technical surveys.
• Install, pre‑commission, and commission new QC equipment and conduct frontline maintenance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Professional certifications as applicable.
