Land Surveyor – Major Projects in Dubai

About the role

AECOM is looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to join a major project team in Dubai. The role involves delivering accurate survey data for expressway and interchange construction, supporting the senior highway surveyor and coordinating with contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform survey work under the direction of the Senior Highway Surveyor, establishing primary horizontal and vertical control points.
• Record measurements, rod readings and calculations in field books and ensure traverse closures and bench circuits are completed.
• Coordinate survey priorities and schedules with the contractor’s surveyor and report any discrepancies to the Assistant Resident Engineer.
• Maintain and calibrate survey equipment regularly.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of construction and/or supervision experience, preferably on expressway projects and interchanges.
• Relevant university or college qualification with at least a diploma in Civil Engineering or Surveying.
• Knowledge of existing utility networks in the Emirate of Dubai and RTA/DM approval is preferred.

Required skills

• Survey equipment operation and calibration.
• Construction supervision on expressway and interchange projects.
• Proficiency with modern computer software for surveying.
