Land Surveyor – Storm Water Drainage

About the role

Stantec is seeking a Land Surveyor to support a storm water drainage infrastructure project in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate land surveys, supervising field activities, and integrating survey data with the existing water‑related infrastructure across the Emirate.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed land surveys for storm water drainage works using Total Station and related software.
• Inspect and supervise survey activities to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of existing infrastructure networks throughout Dubai and incorporate this information into survey outputs.
• Prepare and update survey drawings and reports using AutoCAD and other relevant tools.

Required profile

• Technical qualification in surveying, civil engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in survey works on infrastructure projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Dubai’s existing water and storm‑water infrastructure.
• Proven experience in inspection and supervision of field work.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Total Station equipment and associated software.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Experience in conducting survey works for infrastructure networks.
