Lead Construction Engineer – Structure

About the role

Penspen is seeking a Lead Construction Engineer to oversee structural fabrication, construction and installation for offshore oil & gas facilities in Abu Dhabi. The role involves ensuring safe, efficient execution of structural works in line with engineering documents and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise structural fabrication, construction, installation, modification and completion activities.
• Act as the main interface between engineering, fabrication, offshore installation, HUP, marine, lifting, QA/QC, HSE, planning, procurement, vendors, subcontractors and client representatives.
• Lead structural construction engineering activities and provide technical direction to construction teams.
• Resolve field engineering and constructability issues and ensure alignment with approved engineering documents.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15 years of experience, including 5‑8+ years on offshore projects.
• Proven experience in offshore structural construction/installation, especially with platforms, jackets, topsides or modules.
• Previous experience with PMC/EPC environments; ADNOC offshore experience is an advantage.
