Lead Data Intelligence Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

Dyson is seeking a Lead Data Intelligence Machine Learning Engineer to design automated data labeling systems and scalable data preparation pipelines. The role focuses on active learning, weak supervision, data quality, and building machine learning infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Create automated pipelines for data labeling using active learning and weak supervision to handle large datasets.
• Develop human‑in‑the‑loop workflows that efficiently select uncertain samples for verification.
• Implement methods for assessing data quality, denoising datasets, and improving accuracy.
• Integrate labeling solutions with data lakes and ML training pipelines, and enhance teacher models for pseudo‑label generation.

Required profile

• Minimum eight years of professional experience in machine learning engineering or AI solution development.
• Strong Python programming skills with experience in PyTorch, TensorFlow, NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit‑learn.
• Hands‑on experience with active learning, weak supervision, uncertainty and diversity sampling techniques.
• Proficiency in handling large structured and unstructured data using SQL and NoSQL databases.
