Lead Design Engineer, Civil & Structural

About the role

Rejlers International Engineering Solutions is seeking a Lead Design Engineer, Civil & Structural to head the discipline for projects and bids in Abu Dhabi. The role covers the full project lifecycle from FEED verification through execution, ensuring safety, quality, budget and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and supervise civil/structural design activities and associated works.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, clients, subcontractors and authorities to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain daily diaries, progress reports and resource plans for the discipline.
• Review all drawings, design proposals, method statements and RFIs for technical correctness.
• Lead safety implementation on site and ensure compliance with health and risk management requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of Oil & Gas experience with at least 8 years in a lead role.
• Strong verbal and written communication, leadership and coordination skills.
• Willingness to conduct extensive site surveys and work under project pressure.
• UAE local experience and ability to meet UAE visa requirements are added value.
