Lead Planning Engineer

About the role

The Lead Planning Engineer will develop and maintain detailed work programmes for interior fit‑out projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Working closely with the Projects Team, the role monitors progress, analyses variations, and provides strategic forecasts to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tender, clause‑14, and resource histograms and review them with the Planning Manager.
• Coordinate information flow among client, suppliers, and contractors to align deliverables with the programme.
• Generate progress reports, cash‑flow forecasts, S‑curves, dashboards and mitigation strategies.
• Manage claim processes, issue delay notifications and conduct delay analysis (EOT) with cost impact.
• Attend project review meetings, document outcomes and present findings to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in interior fit‑out or main contracting environments.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects in a fast‑paced, multicultural setting.
• Strong presentation and client‑facing skills with excellent English communication.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Primavera and Microsoft Project.
• Solid understanding of CPM, WBS and construction planning methodologies.
• Expert use of Microsoft Office applications for reporting and analysis.
