Lead Software Engineer

About the role

Parametric is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the back‑end services and APIs that power its AI‑driven industrial project platform. This full‑time position will work closely with product managers, data scientists, and domain experts to translate complex engineering workflows into reliable technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable back‑end services, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure system performance, reliability, and security meet customer needs.
• Shape technical strategy, contribute to roadmap planning, and mentor junior engineers.
• Drive adoption of modern development practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, and version control.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in computer science, algorithms, data structures, and systems design.
• Proven experience leading engineering projects or teams, with a focus on production‑grade applications.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment across multiple time zones.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Back‑End Web Development (APIs, databases, cloud services).
• CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Git version control.
• Experience with AI, machine learning, or data‑intensive systems, especially in industrial contexts.
• Knowledge of vector embedding techniques is a plus.
