Learning & Development Consultant – Retail

About the role

The Learning & Development Consultant will drive capability building across Al-Futtaim Group’s retail business. You will design and deliver innovative learning solutions, nurture facilitators and managers, and position L&D as a strategic value driver.

Key responsibilities

• Develop facilitators, managers and delivery partners to maximise learning impact.
• Embed a culture of coaching, accountability and consistent performance standards.
• Design outcome‑driven learning architectures tailored to diverse business contexts.
• Implement simulations, board games, digital learning journeys and team‑development events.
• Translate business needs into brand‑specific learning interventions from diagnosis to instructional design.
• Drive creative engagement campaigns using visual and digital tools.
• Build stakeholder networks through consultative engagement and visual storytelling.
• Oversee program delivery, ensuring facilitation standards and sustained engagement.
• Utilise data reporting tools to generate insights for continuous improvement.
• Align developmental priorities with commercial and operational needs in the retail sector.

Required profile

• Strong ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Data‑driven mindset with experience generating insights for decision‑making.
• Understanding of commercial and operational dynamics within retail.
