About the role

The Academic Enrichment Program at NYU Abu Dhabi seeks an open‑rank Lecturer to deliver three integrated liberal‑arts courses to Emirati students preparing for full university matriculation. The role begins in Fall 2026 and spans a three‑year fixed‑term appointment, with the possibility of renewal.

Key responsibilities

• Teach up to six sections of three thematic courses, meeting three times per week.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director to design syllabi and develop program resources.
• Advise and mentor students, supporting their academic and cultural transition.
• Design and implement experiential‑learning components.
• Assist with program administration and coordinate with academic support staff.
• Participate in orientation, professional‑development workshops, and NYUAD’s intellectual community.

Required profile

• Relevant terminal degree (e.g., PhD) in a liberal‑arts discipline.
• Demonstrated teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
• Ability to work with Emirati students and contribute to a multicultural campus.
• Commitment to a three‑year appointment starting Fall 2026.
