Lecturer – General Studies (English)

About the role

The General Academic Requirements Division seeks a dedicated lecturer to teach General Studies (English). The role combines classroom instruction with active research participation, aiming to enhance student analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality English General Studies courses aligned with international academic standards.
• Integrate personal research findings into teaching materials to enrich learning outcomes.
• Support curriculum development to ensure industry relevance and workplace readiness.
• Incorporate educational technology tools into instructional strategies.
• Contribute to the division’s research objectives and scholarly activities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in TESOL or a closely related field (required).
• CELTA and/or DELTA certification (preferred).
• Minimum of three years of teaching experience in the relevant discipline.
• Experience fostering soft‑skill development and workplace readiness.
• Proven ability to embed educational technology within curricula.
• Master’s qualifications in Business, Communications, or Social Sciences are advantageous.
