Legal Advisor – CEO-facing role in UAE Real Estate Group

About the role

The Legal Advisor will act as the primary legal counsel to the CEO and senior leadership of a diversified UAE‑based real estate group. This senior, CEO‑facing position provides strategic legal guidance across a complex, multi‑entity organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct legal advice to the CEO and senior stakeholders on corporate, commercial and regulatory matters.
• Lead legal support for multiple group entities, drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
• Establish, maintain and monitor governance and compliance frameworks across the group.
• Oversee litigation matters and manage external counsel.
• Support M&A, restructuring and major transaction activities.
• Develop and implement internal legal policies and procedures.

Required profile

• LLB qualified with an active practising legal licence.
• 10+ years of experience in corporate/commercial law.
• Essential UAE real‑estate sector experience.
• Background in real estate, projects or infrastructure.
• Proven track record advising senior leadership teams.

Required skills

• Expertise in contract drafting and negotiation.
• Strong knowledge of governance and compliance frameworks.
• Experience managing litigation and external counsel.
• Ability to support M&A and large‑scale transactions.
