Legal Assistant (UAE Courts Specialist)

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Legal Assistant to join Milyana Law’s UAE office. The role involves hands‑on support for court‑related matters, requiring in‑depth knowledge of the UAE judicial system and the ability to conduct field visits to various government authorities.

Key responsibilities

• File, follow‑up and manage procedural work before Dubai Courts, Federal Courts, Abu Dhabi Courts, Sharjah Courts, Public Prosecution and other UAE judicial bodies.
• Conduct regular field visits to courts, police stations, prosecution offices, notary public, execution departments, expert departments, rent dispute centres and other government entities.
• Track case updates, hearings, execution procedures, judgments, notices and expert meetings.
• Prepare, submit and monitor legal documents via court portals and government systems.
• Coordinate with lawyers, legal consultants, court clerks, experts and government officers.
• Maintain accurate case records, deadlines, receipts, submissions and follow‑up reports.
• Provide additional administrative and legal support as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Legal Assistant, Court Clerk, PRO or similar role within a UAE law firm or legal department.
• Practical working knowledge of Dubai Courts, Public Prosecution, Federal Courts, Abu Dhabi Courts, Sharjah Courts and other UAE court systems.
• Familiarity with UAE court procedures, case filing, execution processes, legal notices and government authority protocols.
• Ability to perform independent field visits and complete tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
