Legal & Company Secretarial Officer

About the role

The Legal & Company Secretarial Officer will support Abu Dhabi Airports’ legal department by ensuring compliance with UAE laws, corporate governance standards, and regulatory requirements. Working closely with internal teams, external counsel and government authorities, the role helps safeguard the organization’s legal and operational interests.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal assistance, conduct research on UAE and Abu Dhabi laws, and prepare submissions to courts and government authorities.
• Maintain statutory registers, governance records, licenses and corporate documentation, monitoring filing deadlines and regulatory submissions.
• Support the implementation of compliance strategies, policies and procedures, and assist with internal compliance reviews and governance assessments.
• Manage corporate records, constitutional documents and the execution of authorized signatory documents.
• Coordinate entity management activities such as incorporation, licensing, renewals, amendments and dissolution of corporate entities.
• Liaise with regulators, external counsel and business units to communicate governance‑related information and prepare governance reports and dashboards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (or related field) and a Master’s degree in Business, Management or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience in company secretarial, paralegal, legal or related functions; aviation industry exposure is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of corporate governance principles, UAE legal and regulatory frameworks and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
