Legal Counsel – Investment Management (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join a leading global asset and investment manager in Abu Dhabi. This junior position will support a wide range of commercial and transactional work across the firm’s international deals.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with a top‑tier team of legal, risk, compliance and investment professionals worldwide.
• Provide legal and governance support to all internal business units.
• Assist with corporate matters and large transactional deals.
• Manage relationships with co‑investors, partnerships, overseas offices and external counsel.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) and qualified in a Common Law jurisdiction.
• Background in a sophisticated financial‑services market such as London, New York or Singapore.
• Experience at a top‑tier law firm (White‑shoe or Magic Circle); in‑house experience is a plus.
• Strong blend of commercial, corporate operations and governance knowledge, with transactional exposure.
• Preference for candidates currently based in the Gulf, though overseas applications are welcome.
