Legal Manager - M&A and Investments

About the role

Ethmar (EIH) is looking for a commercially minded attorney to join its Legal team, reporting to the Group General Counsel. The role reviews and advises on subscription investments, term sheets, shareholder agreements and sale and purchase agreements for M&A, and supports real estate development and asset management contracts from time to time.

Key responsibilities

• Review and advise on subscription investments, term sheets, shareholder agreements and SPAs for M&A
• Support real estate development and asset management contracts
• Risk-assess documents, spot red flags and propose practical drafting solutions
• Work flexibly across a wide range of corporate matters in a fast-paced in-house environment

Required profile

• Law degree; Master's or additional legal certification preferred
• Qualified in NY, CA, Canada, UK or Australia
• 3-5 years of professional experience in M&A, investments and commercial contracts
• At least 2 years of big law or equivalent experience preferred
• Strong experience in fund investments and M&A
• Fluent English required; Arabic preferred
• Deal sheet available for review
