Librarian‑Teacher (Library Management & Curriculum Support)

About the role

The school is seeking a qualified Librarian‑Teacher to support information literacy, digital citizenship, and research skills across the student body. This role combines library management with curriculum integration.

Key responsibilities

• Teach information literacy, digital citizenship and research skills to students and collaborate with teachers to design integrated learning units.
• Curate, catalog and maintain both physical and digital library collections, manage budgets, and oversee library automation systems.
• Introduce and support educational technology tools, manage access to digital research databases, and maintain the library website.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive environment, organize literacy initiatives such as book fairs and reading challenges.

Required profile

• Diploma, Bachelor or Master’s degree in Library Management or Library Science.
• Minimum three years of experience handling a school library.
