Lifeguard – Hotel Pool & Beach

About the role

Join the Recreation team at Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai as a Lifeguard. You will ensure the safety and well‑being of guests using the hotel’s pool and beachfront facilities while delivering the high‑standard service the brand is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain constant surveillance of guests in the pool area.
• Respond immediately to emergencies, provide first‑aid care, and coordinate with emergency medical services.
• Perform routine cleaning and limited maintenance to keep the pool environment safe and spotless.
• Present a professional appearance and uphold guest service standards at all times.
• Assist guests with spa, wellness, and hotel‑related inquiries, ensuring a smooth guest journey.
• Participate in daily/monthly meetings, training sessions, and adhere to all safety legislation.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
• Professional, friendly attitude with excellent guest interaction skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including cleaning duties outside operating times.
• Commitment to ongoing training and compliance with health‑safety standards.
