About the role
Miral Experiences is hiring a full-time guest-facing lifeguard in Abu Dhabi. The role keeps guests safe while they enjoy rides, slides and attractions, and requires working outdoors in water, at heights and in extreme temperatures, year-round.
Key responsibilities
- Operate rides, slides and attractions and give clear directions and instructions to guests
- Ensure guest, colleague and contractor safety at all times
- Follow manufacturer and department guidelines and standard operating procedures for ride dispatch and guest safety
- Keep rescue skills and basic life support skills at test-ready level, following department training standards
- Move furniture, ride vehicles and equipment in and out of the park
- Work nights, evenings and holidays, and perform other duties as directed by management
Required profile
- 20/25 vision, corrected or uncorrected
- Ability to swim 50 metres non-stop in front crawl or breaststroke, and to dive 1.4 metres deep and retrieve a 10-pound brick
- Basic spoken English
- Ability to work in a diverse team, be culturally aware and stay friendly
- Experience: 2 years
