Lifting Supervisor

About the role

Fisher HR is recruiting a Lifting Supervisor in Abu Dhabi. The role supervises all lifting and rigging operations on site, ensuring they are planned, coordinated and carried out safely in line with client, HSE and project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all lifting and rigging operations on site and prepare and review lifting plans
• Conduct pre-lift briefings and toolbox talks with the lifting team
• Coordinate lifting activities with project, construction and operations teams
• Manage riggers, signalmen and crane operators, allocate tasks and coach the crew
• Inspect lifting equipment, verify that cranes, slings and shackles are fit for use, and remove defective or uncertified equipment from service
• Enforce safe work practices, permit-to-work conditions and exclusion zones, and report incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions
• Maintain accurate lifting records, inspection logs and documentation

Required profile

• Valid ADNOC Lifting Supervisor approval (mandatory)
• 3 to 5 years of experience in lifting operations, including 1 to 2 years as a supervisor
• Strong commitment to safety and good communication skills
